How the trial works
7 days of everything in Pro. A card is required to start. Cancel any time before the 7 days end in the billing portal and you pay nothing. If you do nothing, the plan starts when the trial ends. The free trial is for first-time customers. If you have already had a trial with the same email address or the same card, the first payment is taken at once.
30-day refund
Within 30 days of a payment, no questions. A full refund ends Pro on that license. A partial refund does not. Refunds and cancelling.
No account
You get a license key and paste it into Hedroom. Stripe takes the payment, so your card details never reach Hedroom.
Cancel in a minute
Enter your key on Manage your subscription. Pro keeps working until the period you paid for ends, then your Mac keeps the free features.

Can I buy Pro today?

Do I need a card for the trial?
Yes. The 7-day trial of Pro starts at checkout and needs a card. You are not charged until it ends, and you can cancel before then in the billing portal. If you cancel in time, you pay nothing. The free trial is for first-time customers. If you have already had a trial with the same email address or the same card, the first payment is taken at once. The free features never need a card.
How do I cancel?
Open Manage your subscription, enter your license key and cancel in the billing portal. It takes a minute and needs no email to us. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Pro keeps working until the end of the period you have paid for.
What happens to my Mac if I cancel?
It goes back to the free features: live monitoring, explanations, alerts, the storage scan and the weekly report. Rules are kept but paused, past receipts stay readable, and nothing is deleted. Anything Hedroom changed during the trial can still be put back.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 30 days of a payment, no questions. A full refund ends Pro on your license. A partial refund does not. See refunds and cancelling.
What does a Mac count mean?
It is how many of your own Apple Silicon Macs can use the license at once. You can move the license to another Mac from the license screen in Hedroom, or from the help page Move your license. Deactivating and moving share a limit of 5 a day for each license key.
Is there a monthly plan for 2 or 5 Macs?
Not at the moment. Monthly is for 1 Mac. The yearly plans cover 1, 2 or 5 Macs.
Do I need an account?
No. After checkout you get a license key and you paste it into Hedroom. The key is how Hedroom knows you have Pro. There is no password and no sign-in. If you lose the key, we send a new one to the email address you bought with, and the old one stops working.
Who handles my card and my tax?
Stripe. Your card details go to Stripe and never to Hedroom. Where sales tax or VAT applies, checkout shows it before you pay. See what the website sends.
